1984년에 결성되어 89년 데뷔앨범 Fright Night을 내놓은 바 있는 Stratovarius의 정규스튜디오 아홉 번째 앨범 Elements Pt.1 이다. 전작들에 비해 가장 화려하고 색채적인 사운드를 들려준다. 현 멤버들이 함께한 다섯 번째 앨범이니만큼 포지션간의 완벽한 상호보완을 이룩해내었다. Stratovarius의 곡들 중 가장 멜로디가 뛰어나지 않나 생각되는 Eagleheart, 이전까지는 볼 수 없었던 화려함을 지닌 Elements등이 앨범을 대표한다. 오케스트레이션의 대거도입과 함께 감동적인 귀환을 하였다.
