The first 10 track Finnish edition (catalogue ID: spi67cd) included the lyrics to "Walking in the Air" in the booklet.
The second Finnish edition, also 10 tracks (catalogue spi67cd), did not include the lyrics to "Walking in the Air", but came with printed track durations on the back cover.
The third Finnish edition, released in 1999, with the catalogue ID spi67sp on the CD, had "Sleeping Sun" as a bonus track and was originally limited to 3000 copies. This version is still so common that more copies were very likely pressed later.
The 2004 digipak CD re-release by Spinefarm Records has only "Sleeping Sun" (04:04) as bonus track.
The Drakkar pressing of the CD contains only "Sleeping Sun" (04:04) as a bonus track and also comes with different cover art.
Released in Brazil by Rock Brigade Records / Laser Company Records with 'Nightquest' as bonus track (the song title is written 'Night Quest' in the back cover):

어떠한 찬사를 해주어도 전혀 아깝지가 않은 Nightwish의 2집앨범 Oceanborn 이다. 다소 정적이고 프로그레시브한 전개를 보였던 전작 Angels Fall First 에서 일대 변혁을 가져 왔는데, 정식 오페라 교육과정을 밟은 Tarja Turunen의 아름다운 보이스와 종횡무진 누비는 기타와 기보트의 애상적이면서도 화려한 솔로라인으로 'Operatic Melodic Power Metal'의 신기원을 이룩해 내었다. Nightwish를 대표하는 명곡 Sacrament Of Wilderness, 오페라 분위기가 물씬 풍기는 The Riddler, 보너스로 수록된 강한 임펙트의 곡 Nightguest등 전곡을 강력히 추천한다. Therion의 앨범들과 더불어 세기말 크로스오버의 최고봉이라 생각되는 두말하면 잔소리, 세말하면 헛소리인 걸작으로 개인적으로 가장 소중히 여기는 앨범 중 하나이다.

나이트위시를 Dark Passion Play로 처음 알았기 때문인지 초기 나이트위시 작품에는 큰 애정이 없지만... 열개가 넘는 수록곡 하나하나가 버릴 게 없는지라 심포닉 메탈의 마스터피스를 칭하기에 부족함 없는 앨범이라 봅니다.
