Theatre Of Tragedy의 이미지 메이커로 깨끗하고 성스러운 이미지를 지녔던 Liv Kristine이 짙은 화장과 육감적인 의상으로 성적어필을 드러내고 있다는 것만으로도 본 Musique 앨범이 준 충격은 상당하다. Nuclear Blast로 이적하여 발표한 앨범으로 전작 Aegis에서 미비하게나마 드러나기 시작한 전자음의 사용이 극대화되어 음반전체를 잠식하고 있다. Kraftwerk와 같은 순수한 전자음악에 경쾌한 New Wave 사운드, 직선적인 기타리프가 녹아든, 독특한 일렉트로닉 뮤직을 들려주게 되었다. Velvet Darkness They Fear 앨범을 기대하고 있다면, 틀림없이 실망한다. 진부한 표현일지 모르지만, 하나의 음악으로서 본작을 대한다면 색다른 만족감을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.
