The Sleeping Mind (Orphic Paradigm) Lyrics

Morning came
Bearing gifts of higher purpose
Of prosperity and peace
And the dawn light brought that soothing breeze
And the quest to find an answer
To the limitations of a lie

Now a seed so bravely grows
In the gardens of my soul

The sleeping mind
Now comes alive
I wandered in darkness
Seduced by the night
I'm wide awake
Embraced by a sacred light
When blessed by the prophets in white

So pristine
Living hell
Beneath the surface
But like ripples travel far before they die
I salute the fading echoes of a hopeless cry

As the seed so bravely grows
In the gardens of my soul

The sleeping mind
Now comes alive
I wandered in darkness
Seduced by the night
I'm wide awake
Embraced by a sacred light
When blessed by the prophets in white

I bow to the prophets
In ivory white

Lacerations of my heart
Orphic paradigm
A symphony of scars

The sleeping mind
Now comes alive
I wandered in darkness
Seduced by the night
I'm wide awake
Embraced by a sacred light
When blessed by the prophets in white
