Roy Khan의 매력적인 음성과 수려한 멜로디 라인, 드라마틱한 전개로 유럽에서 상당한 반향을 일으켰던, Kamelot의 마스터피스 행진을 알리는 작품, The Fourth Legacy 이다. 전곡에서 A급 멜로디와 뛰어난 구성, 격정적인 연주를 만끽할 수 있는데, Roy Khan은 계열 보컬리스트중 개인적으로 가장 마음에 드는 스타일을 구사하며 Thomas Youngblood의 기타 사운드도 가히 일품이다. 최고의 Melodic Power Metal 트랙 The Fourth Legacy와 폭풍같은 질주속에 아름다운 멜로디를 수놓은 Until Kingdom Come, 동양적인 선율로 친숙함이 느껴지는 Nights Of Arabia 등이 앨범의 백미이다. 국내에도 뒤늦게 발매가 이루어져 인지도를 넓혀가고 있는 중이다. 전율적인 'Fantastic Melodic Power/Progressive Metal' 앨범으로 개인적으로 Kamelot 최고작으로 지목한다.
