[Hybrid Theory]로 엄청난 성공과 인기에 힘입어 꽤 시간이 지난 후지만 발표된 2집 정규앨범[Meteora]는 전작에 완전한 Nu Metal에서 조금은 실험성이 가미된 음반으로 1000만장 이상 판매고를 올린 앨범이다. 대부분 [Hybrid Theory]와 [Meteora]가 Linkin Park의 명반이라고 한다. 그 중에서도 취향에 호불호가 나뉘는데 Metal계열에 좀 더 기우는 사람들이 [Hybrid Theory]를 그리고 과격하지만 감성적인면도 공존하는 [Meteora]를 좋아하는 사람이 있다. 본인도 감성적인 걸 좋아하지만 그나마 Metal 같은 소리를 내는 [Hybrid Theory]가 더 좋다. 일반적인 대중음악 혹은 Linkin Park를 듣는 사람들 입장에서야 [Meteora] 앨범을 좋아하겠지만...
