현재까지도 왕성한 활동을 펼치며 폭넓은 인기를 구가하고 있는 독일의 Rage는 역사상 가장 뛰어난 Thrash Metal 밴드중 하나로 손꼽히는 대그룹이다. Perfect Man 앨범부터 이어져온 트리플체제를 본작 The Missing Link에서도 취하고 있는데, 베이스와 보컬의 "Peavy" Wagner의 지휘아래, 기타의 Manni Schmidt, 드럼의 Chris Efthimiadis등이 만들어내는 장엄한 사운드는 압도적이며 중후한 맛의 거침없는 스래쉬를 들을 수 있다. 정규 여덟 번째 앨범으로 많은 분들이 Rage 최고의 명반중 하나로 엄지손가락을 치켜세우는 작품이다.
