Finntroll은 Humpa Black Metal이라 불리우는 독특한 음악을 들려주는 6인조 밴드로 핀란드 출신이다. Bohemia의 민족무곡인 Polka의 일종인 Humpa를 Black Metal에 입혀 시종일관 어깨가 들썩이는 켱쾌한 진행을 보이는데, 급격한 악곡의 진행, 사악한 그로울링과 맞물려 묘한 매력을 발산한다. 기본적으로는 기백넘치는 Viking Metal이라 볼 수 있으며 어코디언, 벤조등의 민속악기를 등장시켜 흥겨운 분위기를 연출한다. 강한 개성으로 똘똘 뭉친 앨범으로 자신의 음악영역을 넓히고 싶다면 일청을 권한다.
