Eight Legs of Thunder Lyrics

It is time
My trusted steed
Together we ride
Together we bleed
End is nigh
So ride like the wind
Blazing the sky
Facing death with a grin

Lead the way
To glory! My friend
You must never sway
Fight ‘til the end
The battle stands
On Vigrid's field
Though death is at hand
We will never yield

Eight legs of thunder
Riding to war
Tear them asunder
It's time to settle the score
Eight legs of thunder
An unstoppable force
Riding to plunder
They shall die by my sword

So lead the way
To downfall my friend
To end of days
We shall not relent
By my command
We ride out to war
One final stand
Hear our battle cries roar

It's the end
The Völva foretold
Darkness descends
And men's courage will fold
But true the hearts
Of warriors of old
Einherjer charge
As Ragnarök unfolds

Eight legs of thunder
Riding to war
Tear them asunder
It's time to settle the score
Eight legs of thunder
An unstoppable force
Riding to plunder
They shall die by my sword

Eight legs of thunder
Like the waves of the tide
We'll pull them down under
A storm that doesn't subside
Eight legs of thunder
Though I know I shall die
My eight-legged wonder
To ruin! To ruin we ride!

Eight legs of thunder
As Yggdrasil burns
My eight-legged wonder
It's too late for us to turn
Eight legs of thunder
When my body is torn
By Fenris asunder
Sleipner carry me home
