Amon Amarth의 네 번째 정규작인 Versus The World 앨범으로 여전히 변함없는 기백의 장엄한 Melodic Death/Black Metal을 들려준다. 한순간도 놓지 않는 파워풀한 직선적이고 박진감 넘치는 곡진행에 멜로디컬한 기타리프가 올라탄 형식을 취하고 있는데, 집결된 연주력의 완성도는 수준급이다. 읊조리듯 내뱉는 중저음의 그로울링은 멜로디컬함으로서 자칫 가벼워질 수 있는 밴드의 이미지를 중화시키며 강직한 모습을 드러낸다. 역시, 데뷔 미니앨범부터 함께해온 Peter Tatgren의 엔지니어링으로 Abyss 스튜디오에서 완성되었다. 심금을 울리는 애상적인 멜로디가 등장하는 Bloodshed를 강력추천한다.
