Oden Lyrics

We were created in the Northern lands
To tame the nature with our hands
To prepare our own demand and supply
The gift of Oden is your life

Individualism truly comes from the North
Each one is born with his own worth
The people together, each one can do as he please
The answer to this days' disease

Born out of justice
So proud and so free
Never fear nothing
This you can see
Our lives are decided
When we shall die
So hurry up and meet death
To Valhall we fly

Then Christians showed up their ugly face
To divide our nations and our race
Through reasons and wisdom of the serpent
We laid down our weapons, on knees we bent

Suddenly our world was set in a spin
Hunted and killed by our own kin
A desert God that invaded our land
Destroying our culture
Christians be damned!

We just gave up life and fell into sin
Into a nightmare state we all went in
Through a millennia our generations we watched
No souls and no freedom, so out of touch

The sun comes back with every spring
And life, once more, it will begin
Our Gods and nature are still here
But the humans are nowhere

Their spirit has gone away
Soulless bodies in decay
The serpent has got them hypnotized
Cut his head off so they can fly

Since this rime things have clearly changed
The foundation is rearranged
The North is united, we found our way
We got back to our early days

For 300 years now, this religion's been dead
No longer this is the Godhead
New religions always come to our shore
But we just laugh and close the door

We woke up from a sleep that was too long
No more listening to the Devil's dance and song
A new cycle has come, the old dead and gone
To change the foundations and right from wrong

One God for each region of the Earth
Established well in literal words
Conquering others is not allowed
Your soul is forfeit for bad acting lies
The land, sky and the sea is Oden's territory
He now decides what's gonna be your destiny

Government runs the North deliberately into the ground
Confusion, rape and murder is all around
But we just keep it cool, we stand our ground against the fool
In time this vanish and we will still be here

A government that destroys its own people
Is not fit for the negotiating table
That people has not only the right
It's also their duty to fight
And take down the lawless one and crush them all

As Gullveig was killed and rose in three days
She's the fairest of women, I can see her face
She is our saviour, trust in her we shall
Now we can all meet at Valhall

The spirit of Oden has come back to us
We're bound together, and just because
This land is yours and no one else
One people, one country, it's all good and well

Call upon him

Oden!
