Melodic Death Metal 황제의 장기집권을 가능하게 한 작품인 Clayman 앨범이다. In Flames가 지금까지 발표한 앨범들보다 한층 파워풀하고 입체적인 사운드를 선보이고 있으며 보컬라인에도 멜로디가 도입되었다. Bjorn Gelotte와 Jesper Stromblad의 송라이팅은 절정이다. 미국 락 씬에 대한 약간의 미련을 완전히 떨쳐버리게 만들 가공할 만한 감동을 안겨주는, 역시 멜로디에 관한한 최강임을 다시 한번 입증한 앨범이다. 10번트랙인 Suburban Me는 In Flames를 대표할 만한 곡으로 박진감과 멜로디를 최고조로 끌어올리고 있다.
