Ten Steps to Oblivion Lyrics

Step one and blood is drawn in flowing streams that greet the dawn
Step two and a minds in shreds, tortured souls and severed heads
Step three and dreams are quashed, no jokers laugh just sit and watch
Step four and forests cry in purples flames that reach the sky
Step five and animals run, ever searching for the sun
Step six and the fields melt, forgetting all they ever felt
Step seven and the mountains quake, showing fears that now awake
Step eight and the rivers flee, trying to hide in the sea
Step nine and the sea it boils, hiding behind earths barren soils
Step ten and the planet ends, destruction caused by sightless men
