Additional notes
Said to be one of the pioneers of funeral doom metal along with Thergothon.
Skepticism had a bassist on their 7" debut who quit right after its release. On their second release, they had a bass player from another band. The bass on Stormcrowfleet was a session member from the band Lihtede.
Eero Pöyry initially joined as a second guitarist.
According to an interview conducted with the band in 2015, Skepticism left their longtime label, Red Stream, Inc., in 2014, when the label informed the band that they were no longer releasing new albums. Skepticism was subsequently signed to Svart Records.
A 27-minute documentary about the band, "The March", was released in 2018.
