Additional notes
Hell signed to the Belgian label Mausoleum Records, but two weeks prior to the recording of the album, the label collapsed. Kev Bower subsequently quit the band. He was briefly replaced by Shaun Kelley, though Hell split up soon afterward. Vocalist Dave Halliday committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning a few months later.

Dave Halliday taught Andy Sneap of Sabbat to play guitar and Sneap mentions Hell as one of his main influences.

Sneap and Bower reconnected many years later and decided to reassemble the remaining original members of Hell in 2008 to finally record their album. Sabbat vocalist Martin Walkyier was originally brought in to record the vocals, though he was later replaced by Kev Bower's brother Dave, who was deemed to be a better fit for the material. Sneap himself became the second guitarist in addition to producing the album.

Hell has essentially been inactive since 2017. Though they have not formally broken up, Andy Sneap has stated that the band is unlikely to record or perform again.
