Additional notes
The band has split up and reformed a total of three times. The first split was due to Ruben Rosas's incarceration, which coincidentally happened on the night of the release of their debut album, Molesting the Decapitated. The band later reformed in 2001 without Rosas and placed their original vocalist Wayne Knupp in his position as vocals. Devourment later broke up again that same year and then reformed in 2002 with Rosas back in the group on vocals after he was released from prison, but yet again split up in 2002, only to reform three years later.
