Clive Barker의 소설 Cabal과 이를 영화화한 Nightbreed를 모티브로 만들어진 Cradle Of Filth의 Midian 앨범으로 괴물들의 도시 Midian에서 펼쳐지는 장대한 이야기들을 거대한 스케일의 입체적인 사운드로 재창조시켰다. 핏빛으로 가득했던 Cruelty And The Beast 앨범과 비교해 다소 밝고 극적인 반전이 많으며 보다 다양한 색채로 꾸며 놓았다. 높은 인기를 구가한 대곡 Her Ghost In The Fog, 심포닉하고 극적인 곡전개가 일품인 Saffron's Curse, 뛰어난 멜로디를 지닌 Death Magick For Adepts등이 베스트 트랙이다.
