Additional notes
Although Hypocrisy didn't officially form until October 1991, it began as a solo project of Peter Tägtgren under the name Seditious.
During the late '80s/early '90s, Peter lived in the US and became heavily influenced by the American death metal scene. He then moved back to Sweden with a new perspective on death metal.
In 2009, the band had announced Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) as their live guitarist for their A Taste of Extreme Divinity US tour. However, the tour was canceled due to Visa-related issues.
Hypocrisy's first logo, which was Masse Broberg's idea, was made by Peter Almlöf.
