The "Sound Asleep EP" was self distributed in August 1999 to friends and family.
This EP is also referred to as "Whisper EP".
This EP was only subjected to 50 copies as Ben Moody burned them on his computer, with help from BigWig Enterprises.
This CDr was distributed and housed in a flexible "DiscSaver" case.
There are two hidden tracks.
"Ascension of the Spirit" is technically supposed to be an un-nammed track with a lot of silence, a movie clip (hidden track 1) from "My Boyfriend's Back", more silence, then a string instrumental (hidden track 2).
There is no artwork for this EP because the submitted artwork was rejected to save money and add mystery.
