Since the track "Elvenpath", from which the album takes its name, had been recorded in 1997 with Spinefarm Records for the Angel Fall First record it could not have been included on this compilation.
Tales from the Elvenpath got Gold Disc in Finland, with 20.000 sold copies, and in Germany, with 100.000 sold copies.
