"Showtime, Storytime" was released on November 29th as a "Limited 2 Blu-ray + 2 CD Digipak", "Limited 2 DVD + 2 CD Digipak", "Limited 2 CD Digipak", "2 coloured LP in gatefold" and an exclusive "Nuclear Blast Mailorder Edition".
The second disc consists of the 120-minute tour documentary "Please Learn The Setlist in 48 Hours", directed by Ville Lipiäinen, with no short of drama or overall madness. Also, there is a 16-minute Nightwish Table Hockey Tournament, filmed on tour.
All Blu-Ray versions are slowed down both in video and audio compared to te DVD and CD. The reason for this is during the mastering process the original 25fps footage was slowed down to 23,976fps instead of being released in proper frame rate, resampled to different frame rate, or dropped one frame for 24fps. When asked by a fan Tuomas said he was unhappy about this and asked the label about the problem, however the discs were already pressed and prepared for the release.
