Kamelot 통산 세 번째 앨범 Siege Perilovs 으로, Conception 출신의 보컬리스트 Roy Khan을 영입하여 Kamelot의 이름을 본격적으로 알리기 시작했다. 미국출신임에도 서정적이고 프로그레시브한 사운드를 펼쳐 많은 관심을 끌었는데 이후에 발표하는 음반들과는 방향성에 다소 차이가 있다. Melodic Power Metal과는 거리가 있고 드라마틱하고 유려한 스케일의 Progressive Metal로 표현하는게 알맞을 것 같다. 머지 않아 사운드의 변혁과 함께 'Melodic Power Metal'계의 최고반열에 올라서게 된다.
