- "Incarnation of Evil" is a reworked version of the older Nemesis track "Black Messiah."
- "Darkness in Paradise" is a prelude to the story narrated on the next album Tales of Creation.
- A video was made for "Mirror Mirror".
- The cover is a portion of Journey of Life: Youth (1842) by the American painter Thomas Cole.
- The band is not happy with the album mix, and they place the blame on their (then-) record label rush-producing the LP to coincide with a US tour.
