Original cover art For He Is Raised © 1996 by American pathologist, euthanasia activist, painter, composer, and instrumentalist Dr. Jack Kevorkian.

"Ode of the Paegan" is actually a hidden track at the end of "Dead Girl", which is only 7:23 without the hidden track and the silence in between.

Track 4 "Diäb Soulé" is Cajun French for the "drunken devil". The track contains a sample from a speech given by Reverend James Warren "Jim" Jones.

"Venus Blue" has also been called "Dead Venus Blue" by the band.
