"The Quiet Resistance" is about that resistance feeling within you - you are afraid of, not allowed to speak of. Some songs are about speaking your mind ('Say', 'Caught in the Middle', 'Whenever').
Manda Ophuis about the album's cover: I’m in a lost/quiet environment (desert like) and the sword represents a quiet resistance as well.
