Additional notes
Founded by vocalist Manda Ophuis and guitar player Hendrik Jan de Jong in September 2002 (under the name "Nemesis", which was changed to Nemesea only a few weeks later) at the conservatory in Groningen. Subsequently thereafter, the band recruited Sonny Onderwater on bass and Steven Bouma on drums.
In 2006, Nemesea signed up at sellaband.com. Within a couple of months, the band raised $50.000 through the website. This made it possible for them to record a second album. In June of 2007 the album "In Control" was released.
