The song "Shadow" was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short story of the same name.

This album is dedicated to all the fallen brethren of Manilla Road including but not limited to: Allen Denny, Al Arnold, Robert Park, Ronnie True & Cliff Burton.

Originally intended to contain the track "Throne of Lies", but was left off by the record label. This track can be downloaded at the Manilla Road website.

The track appears on the LP version done by Black Widow Records between the tracks "Seven Trumpets" and "Merchants of Death".
