Aerosmith의 역사적인 데뷔작. 무엇보다도 앨범에서 돋보이는 곡은 Dream On이라고 할 수 있겠다. 다른 곡들도 상당히 괜찮은 곡들이지만 Dream On에 묻히는 경향이 없지않아 있다. 앨범은 아쉽게도 흥행에는 실패했다. Dream On도 의외로 싱글로서도 신통한 성공을 거두지는 못했다. 그렇게 묻혀있던 이 앨범이 다시 주목받게 되는 계기가 된것은 3집 Toys In The Attic이 빅히트를 치면서이다. 이앨범이 크게 성공을 거둠으로써 이들의 전 앨범들에 대한 관심이 모여지면서 싱글인 Dream On은 차트에 높은 순위까지 오르는 진귀한 일도 발생한다.
