Additional notes
According to a dedication on the back of A Tribute to Insanity, the band's name, German for "Witch's House", is a reference to the Malefizhaus (aka Drudenhaus, Hexenhaus, Hexengefängnis) in Bamberg, Germany, where hundreds of suspected witches were tortured and executed during the early 17th century.
Nearly the entire line-up also played in Memento Mori, but they are considered a different band.
Another album was announced in 2016, to be recorded and released with the title "At the spirals end", but there have been no further updates since. Mike Wead is fairly busy with King Diamond and Mercyful Fate.
