Additional notes
After the band fell apart (2000/2001), some members went on to form the band Volbeat, which is named after the Dominus album 'Vol.Beat'.
Dominus always tried to change their sound with each release. View to the Dim was a pure death metal album in the Swedish vein. The First 9 introduced elements of melodic death metal and death 'n' roll. The band shifted to a groove metal style on Vol.Beat with melodic elements retained. The final album Godfallos reintroduced death metal vocals as well as adding some thrash metal elements in the vein of Metallica.
