Additional notes
This band was formed by the remains of Carcass (minus Bill Steer), along with former Cathedral bassist Mark Griffiths. They played a straightforward '70s metal/rock style not unlike the album Swansong from Carcass.
They changed their name to Blackstar Rising for the American market after discovering another group with the same name and released the album on Metal Blade Records under that name.
