Subways of Your Mind (Original version of TMMS)

This is an early demo recording of FEX' 1984 song "Subways of Your Mind", as played on NDR and sought after for nearly 40 years. Differences from the 1985 yellow tape EP version that was unearthed in November 2024:

* Only one bar of the intro riff instead of 2
* The song fades out before getting to the fast-paced outro

This recording also includes two drum hits before the song begins, which were omitted from the radio recording that circulated online for nearly 20 years.

At the time of release, (what we now know as) the 1985 yellow-tape version was believed to be a "demo", and this recording was believed to be the "final" version of the track. Since the release of the single, new information has come to light about the origin of these recordings.
