짝사랑하던 여자를 위해 만들어진 본작은 레이블의 사정으로 인해 2년간 연기되었는데
조그만 빨리 발매되었다면은 D'Angelo의 사랑을 Maxwell이 독차지 할수 있지 않았을까?
Stuart Matthewman의 감성이 묻어나는 데뷰앨범
NYC 테라스에서 야경을 바라보면서 가장 잘 어울리고 가장 섹시한 음악은 본작이 아닐까 생각한다.
니오쏠 역사에 남을 뮤지션으로 손색이 없음을 말해주는 앨범이다.
개인적생각으론 최고의 Neo-Soul 의 앨범이다

네오소울 뮤지션 맥스웰의 데뷔작. 낭만적이고 복고적이며 평화롭고 감미롭다. 또한 매우 세련되고 현대적이며 고급스럽다. 화려하지는 않지만 내적 감성을 자극하며 달콤하게 다가온다. 미국내에서만 200만장 이상이 판매되었다.
