Haggard는 독일 출신의 밴드로 1994년에 미니CD Progressive, 1995년에는 프로모 테잎 Once Upon A December's Dawn를 자체적으로 제작하였으며 1997년에 Last Episode에서 데뷔작을 낸 후, 레이블을 Drakkar로 옮겨 공개한 두 번째 정규작 Awaking The Centuries 앨범이다. 전작과 연장선상에 있는 음악을 들려주고 있는데, 음악의 완성도도 막상막하 백중세로 상당한 감동을 안겨준다. 국내 판권을 쥐고 있는 BMG에서 본작을 라이센스화하여 세간을 놀라게 하였다. '인간' Nostradamus의 고뇌를 담아낸 걸작.
