Wizards는 브라질 출신의 Melodic Power Metal 밴드로 본작 The Kingdom은 결성 10주년에 발표한 통산 네 번째 앨범에 해당한다. 프론트맨인 Christian Passos가 전곡을 작곡하였는데, 그만큼 앨범에서 보컬라인이 차지하는 비중이 높다. 에픽적이라고 하기에는 무리가 있지만, 정통적인 요소로 광활한 중세의 미를 표현하려한 노력이 엿보인다. 표면적으로는 가벼운 느낌의 멜로딕 파워 메틀을 벗어날 수 없지만, Wizards만의 매리트를 형성하고 있어 일정수준이상의 만족을 줄 것으로 생각된다. 박진감과 중후함을 겸비한 동명 타이틀곡 The Kingdom 등을 담고 있다.
